tesa® 60400 is a bio-based packaging tape which is suitable for medium-weight packaging applications (15-30kg). The backing material chosen for this tape is polylactide acid, also known as PLA. PLA is made from renewable feedstocks such as corn starch, tapioca roots and sugar cane.
The system adhesive used for the tesa® 60400 is a natural rubber with a natural-based resin. Thanks to the smart choice of raw materials and outstanding design, tesa® 60400 is produced with a bio-carbon content of 98, a reduced carbon footprint.
